TRAVEL BY BIKE OR SCOOTER
Bushnell Park forms a key component of the East Coast Greenway, a planned off road multi-use bike and pedestrian trail which will stretch from Maine to Florida. Biking is allowed on park paths (with caution and yielding to pedestrians) as well as along the Bushnell promenade on the northern edge of the park. Bike parking can be found adjacent to the Pump House, the Carousel, and Corning Fountain. Additionally, Link Scooter are bright yellow rental scooters can be rented via the link app and used within Hartford City limits

  • For those traveling from the east, we recommend using Gold Street and Atheneum Square to connect to Constitution Plaza and Founders Bridge. This is also a great way to connect to the extensive riverfront trails maintained by our friends at Riverfront Recapture
  • From other directions, many Hartford city streets have painted on-road bike lanes, with more being added every year, use your favorite navigation app for the best up to date routing
