Performance Pavilion

The newest addition to Bushnell Park is the Performance Pavilion, located in the extreme west side of the Park, just below the Capitol building. Dedicated in October 1995, and designed by the architectural firm of Buttrick, White and Burtis of New York, the Pavilion incorporates a dramatic architectural style that blends a permanent performance stage with the historic beauty of the park. The 3,200 square foot outdoor stage provides a facility for theater, music, and dance performances by local artists, performing groups and community based organizations.

A total of $836,000 was raised from private foundations and the Hartford Parks Trust Fund to build the structure.

For more information about the Pavilion call the Bushnell Park Foundation 232-6710.
